Fire Damage

Fire damage applications may be completed on the Residential Permit application. Mark the section “Other" on the commercial development application and indicate fire damage repair.

• Complete the Residential Permit application in its entirety for each proposed development or structure.
• Provide “Proof of Loss” from insurance company.
• Provide contractor’s estimate.
• Provide a detailed site drawing(s) with dimensions and/or to scale.
• Provide drawing(s) indicating demolition and proposed construction.

• All repair(s) or reconstruction will adhere to Section 2.41 of Harris County Regulations for Floodplain Management.

This site should be checked after a major storm event for updated information on the permitting process in place for that event.
